Local agenda 21 and local development: In both areas local authority districts are supported with the conversion and assistance is offered.

During the last years numerous projects could be realised in important fields of action. It is an aim, that in the "learning region district Neumarkt i.d. OPf.", engagement and learning potential at all levels is optimally opened, with an integrated strategy for a lasting resource utilisation, impetus is given to advancement of the region, innovative projects are implemented and are increased under the protection of the physical potential and under inclusion of all social groups - in particular women and youth - the income prospects and the quality of life for the inhabitants of the region.

Thereby our "learning region" wants to extend its competence of economy and society with lasting effect to reach a location advantage for innovations and social creation ability in the administrative district Neumarkt and to receive therefore our life bases.
